Nine Intriguing Explanations for Eating in Dreams

The list of options we've provided in this post are simply possibilities. Ones inituition is usually the best indicator for their truth, so you may interrogate several possibilities as to why you may be eating in your dreams. Only you can really know what your truth is.

Nine possibe reasons why you may be eating in your dreams:

  1. You went to bed hungry and as a result your mind (imagination) was on food.

  2. Your Chi (godself | spiritforce) needs to be fed (revitalized). We tend to underestimate how well other factors that make up our being need to be recharged, sometimes as much as our physical bodies.

  3. Your Chi is being fed from elsewhere. This may not necessarily be good because it could mean you are surrending yourself (lifeforce) to something or someone else.

  4. Your spirit(self) is in communion with your spirit guides. This could be more common amongst people with strong water element.

  5. It could be an indication that your spirit guides or a force in your life needs your attention.

  6. If you can recall a specific meal type or nutrient, it could be a subconscious indication that your body needs a specific nutrient and eating that meal after you wake up could be beneficial to your health. That could be your intuitive way of knowing.

  7. You may have been craving a particular meal for a while and as a result in your sleep your subconscious mind replays a (photographic) loop of what were craving.

  8. You could be receiving nourishment or some sort of fortification at a soulistic level. This could largely depend on the context of what and how you are being fed.

  9. It could be just a simple dream with no definite purpose, with stories and ideas floating around in your dream eye, and food just happens to be another factor.

It’s important to note that the context of a dream matters. The environment, events, e.t.c. Basically, the symbolic elements which led up to you eating in a dream are other factors that could help you discern an interpretation.
