Honest Advice to Someone Who Keeps Visiting Different Dibias

When it comes to your spiritual development journey, and spiritual truth seeking, it’s completely normal to want clarity. We all want answers, to know what’s going wrong, who is causing it, how to fix it, and what the future holds.

For many Odinani practitioners, that search can lead to repeated visits to different Dibias (diviners or spiritual healers), hoping that one more session will finally bring the certainty we crave.

My honest advice to you is this: No amount of external enquiry will replace the internal work you need to do.

The Danger of Endless Seeking

When you find yourself moving from one Dibia to another, constantly needing reassurance, guidance, or confirmation, it’s a sign that you may be trying to avoid the most uncomfortable part of the process, facing yourself.

While Dibias are valuable spiritual guides, they are not a substitute for self-awareness, personal reflection, or action.

The Most Powerful Answers Come From Within

A good Dibia can point to patterns, reveal spiritual interference, or offer guidance. But only you can:

  • Own your decisions.

  • Make the changes required.

  • Sit with your fears, your traumas, your habits.

  • Align with your Chi through consistent choices.

You are not powerless. In fact, the clarity you're looking for will most likely begin to appear the moment you stop running from yourself and start trusting your own inner voice.

Use Divination Wisely

Instead of chasing confirmations, learn to sit with one revelation at a time:

  • Reflect on what was said.

  • Observe your life honestly.

  • Take meaningful steps.

  • And most importantly, check if the guidance resonates deeply.

If it doesn’t resonate, question it. But don’t keep seeking until someone finally tells you what you want to hear.

To Sum It Up

Spiritual help can be positive. Diviners are important. But they are just guides. The real transformation happens when you stop excessively searching outside and begin doing the inner work that can’t be outsourced.

So if you find yourself tempted to visit just one more Dibia… pause.

Ask yourself: What truth have I been avoiding facing within me?

You already know more than you think. Trust your Chi. Do your inner work. And let your path unfold from there.
