Ichida Town Overview
Ichida is an Igbo town located in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. It shares its borders with Adazi-Enu, Nnokwa, Oraeri, Igbo-Ukwu, Azigbo and Awka-Etiti.

Main Market Day
The main market day in Ichida is Orie, and the market itself is locally known as Oye-Ichida. Burials and other major public events that could interfere with market activities are prohibited throughout Ichida on Orie market days.
Major Festivals
Ikpoji Ichida Festival: Celebrated in August, this is the annual New Yam Festival of Ichida.
Afiolu Festival: An annual celebration in Ichida marking the end of the working (farming) season, it is held annually in October. It features performances by Ichida’s largest masquerades.
