Obeledu is an Igbo town located in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. It shares its borders with Adazi-Nnukwu, Neni, Akwaeze, Agulu and Aguluzigbo.

Main Market Day
The main market day in Obeledu is Orie, held at Oye-Obeledu. The town also hosts Nkwo-Obeledu every Nkwo market day. To prevent disruption to market activities, burials and major public gatherings are forbidden across the town on Orie market days.
Major Festivals
Ilo Mmuo/Iri-Ji festival: Celebrated in August or September, this is the annual New Yam Festival of Obeledu.

Stealing yams directly from the soil before harvest (this is known as IvoJi in Obeledu)

Founder and History
According to oral tradition, the people of Obeledu descend from Okotu, an ancestor whose children also established nearby communities like Ichida, Adazi, Amichi, and Osumenyi.
